Job Description

Employee: Diane Lund
Title: Loan Processor/Officer
Reports To: Financial Services Manager

Objective
In accordance with pre-established policies, must provide timely and accurate service for members and maintain the documentation to support any transaction conducted at the credit union.

Responsibilities

Discuss loan products with members and when appropriate, cross-sell other services of the credit union.

Receive, review and follow-up on all loan applications to ensure adequate information has been obtained.

Prepare and/or coordinate all of the supporting documentation for each loan. Assure that each applicant has an account and that each file has proper supporting documentation (ie, completed application, debt/income calculation, credit report, proof of income, amortization schedules, tiles, denial notification, etc.)

Coordinate all activity related to processing mortgage loans including income verifications, employment verifications, appraisals, title searches, etc.

Conduct appropriate interviews with members regarding application and closings of loans.

Prepare a monthly report disclosing the following information for every loan processed:

Member Name/Application Date/Amount Requested/Loan Type/Action

Perform other duties as may be requested
